Sow thinly direct into a finely raked seed bed at a depth of 13mm. Germination takes 7 to 12 days. Transplant resulting plants with a trowel or a dibber when large enough to handle allowing 60cm between plants each way. Grows best in rich well cultivated soil. Use a ntirogen-rich fertiliser in late winter to boost yields. Sowing -> Cropping – 38-42 weeks.
