Suttons Cucumber Gherkin Venlopickling

Excellent for pickling when the fruits are young and tender. Dual use – excellent flavour used in salads or for pickling. Ridge (Outdoor) Variety. 20 seeds per packet.

Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx 15-20 celsius using a good quality compost. Ideal sow one seed per 76mm pot to save root disturbance when planting out after frost risk has passed. Cover the seeds with 13mm sieved compost. Germination takes 6-9 days, Grow on and plant out 60cm apart. Water and feed regularly during periods of dry weather.
