Suttons Cucumber Telegraph Improved

A much improved strain of this popular cucumber. Heritage Seed Variety. 8 seeds per packet.

Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx 15-20 celsius using a good quality compost. Cover seeds with 13mm sieved compost. Germination takes 6-9 days. Transplant seedlings singly into 75mm pots, grow on and plant into greenhouse border or grow bags spacing plants 45cm apart. Keep plants well watered and feed regularly. Plants produce male and female flowers. Remove flowers before they open to prevent polination and bitter fruits.
Sowing -> Cropping – Approx 12 weeks.
